Wilfrido Nolledo

The playwright and fiction writer Wilfrido D. Nolledo was born on January 19, 1933, in Manila. He finished high school at the National University and graduated with a Literature BA from the University of Santo Tomas. He worked as a writer in This Week, Sunday Times Magazine, and at the Ministry of Health, and then as a staff member of the Philippines Free Press. He was also contributing editor for Focus Philippines and editorial assistant for Observer and Newstime

Wilfrido Guerrero

Wilfrido Guerrero, born on January 22, 1910, is a theatrical artist and teacher whose 35 years of dedicated professorship have produced some of the most illustrious luminaries in Philippine performing arts today, including Behn Cervantes, Celia Diaz-Laurel, Joy Virata, Joonee Gamboa, and others. He was appointed director of the UP Dramatic Club in 1947 and remained for 16 years. As the founder and artistic director of the UP Mobile Theater, he pioneered the notion of theater college tours, delivering over 2,500 performances in 19 years of dedicated service.
