Vladimeir “Vlad” Bautista Gonzales is a talented author of essays, poems, and short stories. At UP Diliman, he teaches creative writing. Both the UBOD series of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Dirty Pop Machines Vs. Academia Nuts of Akdang-Bayan Collective have published his piece Intellectual Mass Starvation. For his efforts, he was given the Palanca Award on Monday at ten in the morning.
