Tony Mabesa

After being known as Tony Mabesa, columnist Amadis Ma Guerrero dubbed him the “Lion of the Theater.” He was born on January 27, 1935, in Los Banos, Laguna, where his spectacular performing career began. He was a well-known director, educator, and performer who directed over 170 productions both locally and internationally. He has appeared in over 130 films (international, independent, and mainstream) and 60 television programs (Villa Quintana, Vietnam Rose, and sitcoms).
