Severino Montano

Severino Montano, a playwright, director, actor, and theater organizer, was born on January 3, 1915. He was the pioneer in the Philippines in institutionalizing “legitimate theater.” He improved and expanded his knowledge by pursuing graduate degrees and courses abroad. He also taught his fellow citizens.
